How cool is this!

This traditional old all steel Model A Coupe really has that period 50s flavour nailed!

Rodded quite a few years ago this old darling has travelled all over the place both here and in Australia having been imported to NZ from Australia in 2003.

Testament to originally being built well and having been thoroughly enjoyed over the years she has some neat wear and general patina showing now, but overall the presentation is nice and honest, still looks very sharp and is not so precious you cant actually enjoy using it.

Powering this old girl is a very lively 8BA Flathead dripping with period speed accessories and fruit, including Offenhauser finned heads Offenhauser twin carb manifold topped with twin fully rebuilt Stromberg 97s, and is equipped with an Hot Rod grind Isky cam lifters and springs, so the performance is quite brisk to put it mildly for an old flattie.. and is really quite impressive!

The neat old Sidie is coupled up to a 4 speed Ford gearbox with a floor shifter, carrying on through to a 8 inch Mustang diff set up in a 4 bar configuration with adjustable coil overs, while a 4 inch dropped Super Bell I beam up front with a Holden steering box does the job very well along with Ford F100 brakes all round to take care of the stopping duties .

The original all steel Coupe body is largely as Henry intended it to be, un chopped and un butchered, so the traditional Hot Rod theme has been carried out reasonably sympathetically giving this old Ford a unique original looking style, but leaving little doubt shes a proper old school Hot Rod under it all.

The body appears very clean and solid with tidy presentable paintwork, and although showing its age a little still looks fantastic in Henrys favourite Deep Black with red solids and wide whites for that dead right look.

The interior is remarkably comfortable with a neat bench front seat rimed in grey leather which is just starting to age to perfection and this theme is carried out to the very neat little door trims with pockets and cloth style hood liner.

The original dash is still present and has been adapted to its duties with minimal fuss carrying out is its duties well, yet retaining the original character charm and feel of the cabin.

A very cool little Hot Rod with decent manners on the road, and one that is fully registered warranted and Certified for all of the upgrades.

Make no mistake aside from looking absolutely fantastic this old Flathead certainly wont hold up any traffic thats for sure, this is a good capable old Hot Rod that drives well for what is now essentially an almost 100 year old design!
