Purchased as a previously restored example the latest custodian of this rare V8 recently had the exterior stripped down and gone over again by a professional repair center locally who then refinished the body in a beautiful coat of Primrose Sweet Cream complemented further by deep black mudguards giving a very classy appearance to this delightful old darling.
The chassis and running gear has all been refurbished at some point as well, and the side valve engine ticks over beautifully with a nice shifting gearbox and very decent brakes.
The interior is a lovely place to sit back and reflect on a simpler time while surrounded in period comfort with the deep seating all professionally refinished in a plush leather style with new carpeting and lovely old style instruments in the dash.
The overall drive is refreshingly easy all things considered, with a rebuilt steering box making this pre-war Ford one of the nicest we have driven.
A magnificent hood has been trimmed in a classic and rather expensive cloth which complements the appearance of this old Ford even further.
Lovely chrome and fittings adorn the exterior and body coloured spoked wire wheels with new BF Goodrich Silvertown Wide Whites round out the appearance package.
