The Old EJ!
Once on every street Corner back in the day these loyal old work horses were literally worked into the ground as dependable family transport, and as such are now difficult to find in good order, with many examples succumbing to the dreaded rust decades ago, or ending their days at the Speedway!

This example however has been lucky enough to escape the decades of abuse and has remained as a lovely survivor example of the classic EJ to be enjoyed and admired by many.

A clean and remarkably solid old car it is believed that this example was in the dry Nelson region for the bulk of its life, which would certainly help it survive, and it appears to have had an older repaint in its original Wedgewood blue at some point to a decent standard so really does look the part.

The original interior is a pretty cool place to sit back and enjoy the ride finished in two tone blue and white, and with the exception of a little age related damage on the centre of the front seat is in remarkably good original order.

The trusty old Grey Six is still proudly taking pride of place in the engine bay and coupled up to a smooth shifting 3 speed takes you straight back to the swinging Sixties!

Decent older original chrome and trim all adds to the overall appeal of this neat old Classic Holden and although having been thoroughly enjoyed by its most recent caretakers of over five years, the time has come for this old darling to move on to another family to provide even more enjoyable memories.

A few recent maintenance receipts and some really interesting original documentation and customs letters along with the original handbook and manuals accompany the sale, and over all this is just a nice simple enjoyable Classic that can be used regularly and will happily keep up with modern traffic.
