The timeless style of the First Generation Mustang Notchback is instantly recognisable as an absolute classic, and they always will be.

This gorgeous Rangoon Red Notchback has been in NZ since 2007 and over the period of time it has been on our shores has amassed a historical receipts file which accompanies the sale of over $26k.

A tidy car that presents well, this Mustang appears to be an older cosmetic restoration that has simply been driven and enjoyed, so its showing its age with chips and blemishes around the exterior, but overall the presentation is very appealing in the stunning bright red with a really nice stance and a near new set of gorgeous styled steel chrome wheels to really set her off.

The running gear consists of a previously rebuilt 289 V8 which is coupled up to the three speed auto with power steering and power disc brakes up front, so all of the boxes really are ticked with this one, and it drives really well with a nice cruisy feel and decent road manners.

The interior has been refurbished at some point in the past with a two tone Pony deluxe seat coverings and also includes the desirable full length centre console and Rally Pac gauge cluster.

This cool looking Mustang sits drives and looks great and it would suit someone after an enjoyable and very usable weekend driver that isnt restored within an inch of its life, and is therefore too precious to drive.
