How Cool is this old Gem!

This Super rare low production Wildcat Grand Sport was a rare car worldwide with only 1244 examples produced for this one year only model, and this would be one of very few survivors left today, with even fewer making it to our shores.
A cool old car and a true survivor this unrestored GS still appears to retain all of its unique and quirky fittings and high spec options, making it a really cool alternative to the mainstream Chevy or Ford offerings available of the period.
Powered by the big super torquey 425 ci Nail head she was originally rated at 340 hp and 465 lb ft and it still feels very capable today coupled up to the TH400 transmission and on into the Posi Traction rear end.
The GS cars got better suspension and handling over the stock Wild Cat too, and this old cruiser floats along like driving your lounge suit!
The body on this GS appears to be solid and straight with an older but still very presentable coat of paint thats tidy enough to look the part but not so perfect that you wont mind adding a few chips on the journey .
The interior is in very good order for its age and reflects a life well lived, and it would have to have one of the best seating positions with the big centre armrest making it an absolute pleasure to just sit back and cruise along looking out over the acres of bonnet in front of you.
Factory tinted glass and a lot of chrome trim and extra badging defines the classic style of this big Hard Top while the factory chromed sports rims and white walls all add the appeal .

A lot of car for the money by comparison to most big Pillarless Hardtops of this vintage, and you probably wont see another one pull up beside you at your local car show, so if you like your cars big in stature and in cubic inches, and like to be a little different then this understated big cruiser might just be the one you have been searching for!

The last and only NZ owner has enjoyed this GS for the last 10 years, but its now time for her to go to a new home, so enquire for more details today.
