Now for some Serious late Sixties American Muscle!

Pontiac is largely recognised as the manufacturer who not only started but also to a large degree finished the Muscle Car revolution of the mid Sixties to the late Seventies, from the first GTOs to The iconic Trans Am, Pontiac never wavered from the Big IS Better mantra, and as such built some seriously large capacity Muscle, everyone else was effectively strangled by the fuel crisis, but Pontiac were still building real cars!

This example which originally started as a nice honest 69 Firebird was completely transformed by the previous owner, who just happens to be a very well known and well respected local tradesman car painter, having previously painted many award winning Hot Rods and Classics.

The decision was made to strip the vehicle down, align all of the panels properly, fit all of the unique Trans Am scoops ,wings, and super trick twin snorkel Ram-Air hood, and then repaint the entire vehicle to a high standard of finish in the correct Cameo white with the traditional runway striping, finished in the stunning and correct electric blue,

The result is absolutely magnificent, and captures the essence of this staunch classic Muscle Car to perfection.

While the body and paint was being taken care of, the entire interior received attention as well, and was fitted out with a new correct style trim kit, hood liner and door trims, while still retaining some of the original fixtures and fittings, giving an authentic old school period feel.

A new rubber kit was also fitted and weather seals have all been replaced around the drop glasses, to ensure a reasonable weather resistance too.

A set of correct 15 inch Rally wheels with stainless dress rings have also been restored back to their former glory, and fitted with wide rubber to give the dead right look and stance.

The engine is a traditional period 400 ci Pontiac Big Block, which was previously rebuilt locally, has clearly had a decent cam fitted, has also been fitted with an alloy Edelbrock manifold, new D/P Holley, and a set of large mandrel bent extractors, all of which gets the desired horse power and large amount of torque down to the ground, shifting through to a Hurst equipped 4 speed manual transmission, while front disc brakes, and large sway bars front and rear take care of the road holding duties.

This serious old Muscle car has refreshingly nice manners on the road for such a staunch old car, it sounds absolutely fantastic, and after one drive your hooked by the character and charisma of this iconic Muscle Car!

This is a whole lot of car for the money, simply a well put together replica of a now highly desirable and very valuable car, and she's ready to go right now, if you are !

Inspection will impress, and it won't hang around for this money......
