This gorgeous genuine Rally Sport Camaro was sold by us almost twenty years ago and still stands out and rates as a real favourite among the many Camaros sold by us over the years.
This lovely and genuine car still presents very well over all, and as its had the same doting owner since we sold it last time, it luckily hasnt really changed in all that time.
This beautiful example has never been restored and its never needed it, it has clearly always been just a good honest maintained well cared for survivor.
The body is clean straight and dry and the paintwork is still in really nice order having been refinished long ago but to a high standard in the stunning Sapphire Blue metallic complemented by the off white Z28 style run ways.
The original matching numbers engine still resides in the engine bay and performs nicely with an Offenhauser manifold and Holley with a duel exhaust playing just the right soundtrack and giving plenty of power for cruising in effortless comfort.
The interior is nice and original and in good order with the super cool trademark Staple Shifter encased in the full length console, and is pretty much all original with the factory radio proudly in position and no silly added gauges or butchered trim.
The original exterior chrome and brightwork trim is all present and correct, and still in very good order further confirming the original unmolested status of this iconic body style Camaro, and being fitted with the front and rear spoilers this super cool RS really has the dead right 70s Muscle Car presence on the road.
A lovely honest old survivor thats clearly had a good life, and from our experience these second generation cars always drove better than anything else of the time period out of the US, especially if they had remained unmolested, and this example certainly doesnt disappoint, its a car you could comfortably drive any time anywhere, and it will put a smile on your face, its a real darling.
Sitting proudly on period Cragar SS alloys with raised white letter tires this one really looks the part, while the original Rally Sport Rally Wheels and caps are also included in the sale, as is the original build sheet confirming how she was born.
