A genuine NZ new survivor GTR!

Very few of these have survived period.. and even less that have remained largely unmolested like this one.

This genuine matching numbers GTR was sold new in Christchurch and was first registered here in October of 1972, and has only recently come out of long term storage in a private collection.

Retaining its original body tags, this example decodes as a very rare Nutmeg metallic car with tan trim and houndstooth inserts, making this is a very rare GTR.

This neat old Torana is unrestored and is a very honest genuine old car, so as such its showing its age in the paintwork and trim, with cracking paint and plenty of stone chips and patina, tired carpets and worn seats, but its complete and still presents well over all, and most importantly hasnt been severely modified like most of them have.

The body appears solid and the running gear strong. The original matching numbers 202 Red Six still resides in the engine bay and retains the original air cleaner and fittings, while being coupled up to the four speed manual transmission.

This GTR has the period XU1 style rear wing and front spoiler fitted, and also has a set of very desirable early Sprint Master alloys unbelievably still wrapped in old school Aqua jets!

Decent chrome and trim with a nice patina finishes the exterior nicely, and this rare little GTR looks just like they did back in the eighties when you could still find them on a street corner....

A very rare car now, with very few examples ever coming to the market, and they are still a lot of fun to drive with their nimble handling and plenty of straight line pull.
