This stunning Fairmont is a must see Kiwiana Classic!

Every bit as good as it looks in the photos if not better this example has had a small fortune spent on it over the last few years by its doting owner, and it shows..

Starting with a very honest factory NZ new Fairmont V8, this example has had a full strip down and has been professionally repainted in the stunning Sapphire Blue metallic that you see today, and although this work was carried out six years ago, it still presents like it was all done yesterday, as the car has been absolutely babied ever since!

Continuing along the same theme, while the bills just kept coming! all new rechomed bumpers, a full new rubber kit, new grille, new driving lamps, new new new, the list just goes on and on!

The 351 cubic inch Cleveland residing in the nicely detailed engine bay has also been fully rebuilt, and is coupled to a fully rebuilt automatic transmission, and on to the V8 diff with all new springs and shocks taking care of the handling duties.

The interior is also fully restored in a lovely combination of very nice original black components, including an unmarked dash, and has been fully finished with a very high quality black leather look vinyl with stunning hounds tooth inserts in the seats, a theme which has continued onto the custom restored door trims with great effect, and with a full new headliner and full new carpeting throughout, this is a great place to simply sit back and take a Sunday cruise!

As you can probably see money hasn't really been a factor in the restoration of this stunning old Fairmont...it's been a true labour of love, and the result is a beautifully sorted example that drives and presents just the way it should.

A nice twin exhaust system helps the healthy 4 barrel Clevo sing her lovely tune, and leaves little doubt that this is a proper old school Seventies Ford !

An extensive receipts file accompanies the sale of this magnificent XB Fairmont, as well as the original ownership papers! there really is nothing left to do but get behind the wheel and start smiling!
