##SOLD ###SOLD###SOLD###

If you have been searching for that very special and fastidiously restored Authentic American Muscle Car, but nothing meets your exacting standards, then the search may very well be over....

This well documented example is accompanied by an extensive receipt file and comprehensive photographic record of the detailed restoration that was carried out on what was a very good original honest old car.
Fully decoded, this genuine JS23 code factory R/T 383 Magnum Big Block example displays today just as it was ordered in 1971, desirable options include the 4 barrel 383 Big Block, 727 Torque Flite transmission, power steering, power disc brakes, as well as the desirable hero FJ6 Go Green colour along with the unmistakable R/T sidewinder stripes and impressive R/T twin scooped Hood.
A full rotisserie and very comprehensive restoration has been performed on this vehicle from top to bottom, and the matching numbers engine and full drive train have been subjected to the same intensive documented rebuild, along with a fully restored and beautifully detailed interior complete with the desirable Rallye Dash cluster and thumbwheel radio.
This magnificent Challenger was purchased by its only NZ owner over seven years ago from the well respected RK Motors of Charlotte North Carolina, and comes with extensive documentation, detailed reports and inspection documentation from the director of RK Motors, which refreshingly matches the actual car as it appears in the flesh.
Although having not had a lot of use since its full restoration, this example is completely sorted, drives absolutely superbly, and shows no signs of any paint deteriation in any shape form, testament to its obvious high quality restoration.
It would be fair to say although restored Stateside this example certainly wasn't one of the good old Turbo Channels one week turn around restos...... the gaps and finish are far superior to anything that would have come out of the plant in 71, but it is certainly not over restored, it is simply a beautiful authentic and sympathetic restoration of a remarkable Seventies survivor Muscle Car to a correct and exacting standard.
To complete the period perfect appearance this example is sitting on correct Rally wheels with proper period style Poly Glass tires, which look magnificent and give an aggressive appearance just as it would have 48 years ago.
This remarkable Challenger R/T will stand any inspection, and will impress a genuine buyer...listed today for less than its cost of replacement almost a decade ago, and as anyone who has restored a vehicle to this level will appreciate, well below its replacement cost to this standard today, if you could find one worthy of the work and investment...

Call today for more info on this impressive Challenger R/T!
