Patina Plus!!

How cool is this neat old swinging sixties survivor!

This super original old darling has clearly been someone's everyday cruiser for many many years, and its survived the decades without being molested or butchered in any way, instead it's just weathered over with a real cool well worn old appearance.

The body is genuinely one of the most honest and straightest we have ever seen, and is displaying what appears to be all original sheet metal with most of it still covered in what's left of the very tired original metallic blue paint, so you can see exactly what you're getting with this one!

The interior is the original fitment and in remarkable original condition, the steering wheel is a period replacement Grant style that's been on her for a long time, but the original wheel comes with the car, and remarkably this old girl has never even had a radio fitted in the dash!

The engine is believed to be the original early old 221 V8 which runs beautifully, and is coupled up to a column shift automatic transmission, and with the desirable factory power steering, this one an absolute pleasure to drive.

A very honest old car that drives really tight, and testament to original build quality of the era still drives like a dream because it's never been pulled to bits, so has lovely road manners, and as the saying goes they are only ever original once, and this one really is a great example of just that.

Recent work completed includes a rebuilt power steering ram, new sway bar bushes, mounts, ball joints, brake shoes and cylinders, the list goes on, and a recent road trip over from the other side of the country provided enjoyable trouble free motoring.

A super cool look if you like your cars to look like they have actually lived, she's been protected by some form of fish oil, so it won't get much worse, but it won't get any better either! which suits her just fine!

Simply too cool to restore, just leave her as is, or this one would make a fantastic base for that Thunderbolt replica that you have been thinking about for a while....a bit of period sign writing and some wide steels, dropped down a bit....... mmm
