A genuine Wolf in sheep's clothing....

This stunning and very understated example has to be seen and driven to be fully appreciated....
Starting with a fully restored genuine and very rare A-Code GT Fastback which retains its original P10 inner fender tag, this stunning Fastback was imported into NZ in 2004 before undergoing an extensive mechanical upgrade with a simple brief to make a very quick little car, that stopped and handled equally as well to match its high performance without losing the original style and character of the car, not an easy task, and not one that many people ever get completely right...
Testament to the ability of its builder, the brief was met, and then some!
The engine is a fully imported hand built and numbered genuine ROUSH unit, which is fully dyno tested by ROUSH, and comes complete with among other things high performance alloy heads, a roller cam, full MSD, and a serious amount of attitude!
The engine is coupled to a T5Z 5 speed gearbox, and runs into a LSD diff, with Shelby style adjustable under rider traction bars, and full sub frame connectors, and all four corners are sitting on Koni adjustable shocks with a lowered ride height, and a set of Shelby Cragar alloys wrapped in performance Michelin Pilot tires in a feeble attempt to give this serious performer some chance at traction.
The mechanical aspect of this stunning Fastback has clearly been a serious investment in both time and money, by a builder who clearly knew exactly what he was doing, and as such it is now one of the best driving and performing Mustangs we have ever had the pleasure of offering for sale, it just does everything right.

The body clean body in very nice straight solid condition, and the paintwork complements the style nicely in the gorgeous factory Silver Frost metallic, a few small chips have accumulated as this car has been driven and enjoyed, but overall the presentation is very sharp.
The interior is sporting a Shelby style dash mounted tacho, and a Secura Shelby polished wood rim wheel, with a full centre console, and very comfortable sports leather seating with side bolsters to hold you in place when cornering hard, which this car loves to do!
This car really is the best of both worlds, it looks pretty much standard with that early iconic fastback appeal, and drives really nicely with fantastic road manners, but when you put your boot into it, you really need treat it with serious respect, or it will almost certainly end in tears....

As Jack Roush says- between a road car and a race car.. there is a Roush car.
A very nice quality built package, that would suit fast touring, or an exiting daily driver, quite simply a very well sorted Hi Po Mustang GT Fastback.
