A genuine all steel 85 year old New Zealand New Right Hand Drive work horse that has managed to somehow survive all these years, not to mention surviving a World War.. while still retaining a lot of its original black paint! and just as remarkable, it has never been butchered chopped or Hot Rodded!

This old darling came from a time when Henry himself was still signing the cheques! and proudly wears a genuine hard earned patina at its best, absolutely covered in marks chips scratches dents and bruises, you name it, all proudly worn as badges of honour.

Believed to have come out of the Deep South originally this old Truck still has the remnants of old hand painted sign writing on the doors that would strongly suggest it has been a Ford Dealership service vehicle back in the day, regardless of what she did back in the day, it would have always been a rare old truck, and no doubt would have had an interesting history.

Rescued from long term dry storage by a local old school Hot Rodder who simply cant help himself, and one appreciates the historical significance of such vehicles, she has been carefully and sympathetically put back in to action, and is fully registered and warranted ready to work, just like it did back in the day.

The body is unbelievably solid and clean with no real glaring evidence of major repairs or patchwork having been carried out, and the paint, well that just speaks for itselfas the saying goes they are only original once!

Still running an old Flathead Side Valve, this truck is absolutely true to its roots, the old Flattie runs and performs surprising well around town, with a lively feel, it happily fumes a little as they do, but seems very happy generally, with a nice gearbox and decent brakes for the age and nature of the beast.
