This gorgeous 56 Chevy has been in very long term local ownership and is a pretty well-known and well respected example of the highly desirable Tri Five range of Hard Tops, with the 1956 model being at the top of a lot of peoples lists, as it has just the right amount of flair without being quite as well dolled up as its sister 57 model, but having just that little bit more sophisticated than the 55, hitting the sweet spot in period style and elegance.

This lovely old Tr Five has been fortunate enough to belong to an owner who has a very decent private collection of cars, and treats them all with the same no expense spared attitude.
Although an older restoration now this 56 Still presents exceptionally well, with a solid body displaying very nice paintwork finished in one of the most desirable colours of Caribbean Turquoise and India Ivory, which combined with all of the brightwork and stainless trim adorning the Bel Air model looks magnificent.

The running gear consists of a sweet running 307 small block Chevy coupled up to a TH350 Automatic transmission, and as a concession for safety a full four wheel power disc brake conversion with dropped spindles has been professionally fitted, and fully LVVTA certified, while this example also has factory power steering making it a lovely cruiser with decent over all road manners.

The interior has more recently had a full retrim in a neat tuck and roll style colour matching the exterior, and the overall look is very smart.
