How cool is this tough little Coupe!

This first generation model of the now iconic Ford Falcon is among the first of the breed with it being the first year of production for the model in 1960, and as such this is the undisputed great grandfather to a whole series of now iconic Ford Models, including the legendary Mustang! and this is absolutely where it all started!

This cool little Coupe really has a neat simple underrated appeal with its basic clean cut two door design, with the neat droop snout and rounded off rear flanks. Built originally to be a cheap reliable form of transport with the little 6 cylinder engine, this one however has taken a bit of a turn towards the wild sidethis example is running the ever popular small block Windsor V8! Although not an option until 1963, no doubt it would have been very popular back then as it certainly wakes the little Coupe up and coupled up to the automatic trans with power disc brakes its the whole package.
The strong healthy sounding engine is running a decent new 4 barrel carb with trick headers and an MSD, so its pretty lively in this relatively light weight body.

A very honest car, the body appears to be straight and clean with older but very tidy paintwork and a very decent over all appearance.
The neat and tidy interior is a blend of black and chrome, and with the bench seating front and rear is a pretty cool place to sit back and enjoy cruising to the note of the V8 from the twin pipes.
Nice chrome and trim and a cool set of period sixties style Mini Light alloys really set the mood on this little sleeper, and generally make it look pretty tough.
A rare car on our shores and a nice alternative to the more common Mustangs and later Falcons if you like something a little different, as this one definitely stands out in the crowd and turns a few heads.
A decent little Coupe that has most recently been in the hands of a lady as her little daily driver hot rod, but the time has now come for it to find a new home.
Drives as it should with the usual old car rattles and hums, along with the odd bump and bruise from being enjoyed, which all simply adds to the character and charm!
