How cool is this lovely old darling!

A genuine low milage low owner original unrestored and unmolested survivor that was assembled right here in NZ way back in 63, in Right Hand Drive by Todds in Petone, and was registered to her first proud owner in Balclutha on the 10th of October 1963.

Remember when we still assembled cars here in NZ? Sadly now a long lost industry, but this old girl is from a different time, a time when style and class really meant something, and you really could be proud of what you drove, as it made a real statement.
This magnificent old Mopar has somehow managed to survive the ravages of time, has clearly been well loved all its life, and has been in the same local ownership for almost 30 years! She is only now very reluctantly being offered for sale due to her doting and rather mature.. owner sadly no longer being able to drive her.
It is very rare to find a NZ new car of this era in this kind of condition, and even rarer one of these old Mopars. The Belvidere was quite an upmarket model for its day, and compared to the Chevrolet and Ford Offerings was quite modern in its styling and appointments with trendy interiors and the very cool Push Button Duke Box style Automatic transmission in the neatly layed out dashboard.

This example has the 318 V8 Polly engine coupled to the automatic transmission, and it is so quiet and smooth you can hardly even hear it running!
The body is remarkably honest and straight with what appears to have been a closed door repaint many many years ago, so long ago in fact that looks completely authentic with very tidy trim and fittings complementing the overall appearance.

This is an impressive old car with a fantastic history, It is showing 86k miles on the clock and judging by the lovely condition of the interior the general lack of wear etc, it would be fair to assume its the original milage.

This old darling even comes with her original paper ownership papers, service books and hand books from 1963!

A very cool car with a great look and one that really is a true representation of what these cars were like in their day, as this car doesnt look anywhere near its 62 years of age!
