The Iconic and ever popular first generation Mustang Notch back!
Very few cars capture the imagination like these do..

Previously sold by us many years ago, this is actually a very rare example of the breed, produced in the first year of production 1964, with the original tag decoding as follows.

05H: August 5th 1964
71: Los Angeles D.S.O.
1: 3:00 to 1 axle ratio
6: C4 Automatic
5: 1965
R: Built in San Jose Plant
07: 2 door Hardtop
A: 225 Hp 289
125312 is the serial number

This would have to be one of the very earliest examples of an A Code 4v car to roll off the line, as most 64 cars were either 260s or D codes when fitted with the 289, the A code was generally not available until 1965.
This stunning example finished in gorgeous Poppy Red certainly catches your eye, it has a very clean straight body and very nice paintwork, so presents exceptionally well for a nicely maintained unrestored example.
It is also a lovely driving car with very nice manners on the road, and is quite simply an easy classic to live with.
The interior has been freshened up in the past and still presents very well with crisp off white seating complemented by black carpets.
A nice set of American Racing Torque Thrust alloys and white walls complete the classic look, and make this classic Notchback look quite tough, yet still retaining that classic appeal, while nice clean chrome further complements the stunning red paintwork.
This example has most recently been in long term ownership of a lady in the top of the South Island, but the time has come for it to go on to the next chapter of its life.
Always a popular model, always will be, this little Notchback will put a smile on your face from the first drive!
