Now this is a serious piece of kit
People often spend many tens of thousands of dollars trying to build a car they would like to think is as sorted as this example, but never really quite get the whole package right.well thats not the case herethis thing is well beyond Sorted, its a real testament to its very experienced builder, who as this car shows is an absolute craftsman.
What you see before you is a very nice but relatively mild appearing First Gen Camaro with a really lovely body, fantastic paint work and a nice set of wide rally wheels, all sitting down looking pretty tough on decent wide rubber, all pretty normal stuff so far right? but underneath this thing is next leveltucked neatly into the detailed engine bay under a proper steel cowl induction hood is a Modified 400ci Small block Chevy, with an enormous Super Charger hanging off it! and according to the Dyno Sheets one that is capable of a very respectable circa 850hp with 750 Ft lbs of torque, yes, you did read that right..
This Camaro is not just about horsepower though, it creator has the experience gained from multiple high quality builds over the years to make this 68 the whole package, very fast, very drivable and very well behaved with the automatic transmission (until you provoke it..)
The front chassis subframe contains a complete Uni Steer power rack and pinion system, coupled to a Uni Power column and fully adjustable coil over suspension, while the rear which has been discreetly mini tubbed in an attempt to get some form of traction, (which it does,sort of) is equipped with a custom 12 bolt diff in a Caltrac Mono leaf spring system, along with relocated shocks, Cal Trac traction bars, and substantial subframe connectors to bring everything firmly into line.
The beautiful body work and paint is complemented by a similar quality interior with comfortable later model Camaro Buckets trimmed to match, and a full complement of digital instruments set out in the dash and console to monitor all of the goings on.
New rubbers and stainless trim throughout completes the overall package of this desirable example, and makes for a very nice quality tidy profile over all.
To say this is just a fast Camaro would be a real understatement, this would be without a doubt one of the best examples of a well sorted well thought out proper scary powerful old school Sixties Muscle Car we have ever had the pleasure of dealing with, it is a genuine sleeper with a real serious attitude, but is still an absolute pleasure to drive, which is certainly not an easy combination to actually achieve.
A lot of time money and experience has gone into this build, and it shows.
