This example of the iconic Mustang breed comes to us from 1968, a good year for these cars with refinements made as a concession to safety just starting to become a design feature.

This genuine survivor is a pretty honest and authentic example, the body appears dry and clean and appears to have had a repaint in the not to distant past, so presents well over all with a decent authentic looking lacquer shine on the deep Cherry Maroon paintwork.

The running gear in this example consists of the desirable 289 small block V8 engine coupled to the three speed manual transmission which makes it a bit of fun to drive, and being equipped with factory power steering and factory power brakes this Mustang has a very user friendly appeal.

The neat black interior is a mixture of original and refurbished components to give a tidy traditional experience in the cock pit, having had new dash chromes and some of the tired original components replaced to freshen things up.

A generally tidy nice driving example that has had a sympathetic exterior refurbishment with a lot of new exterior brightwork and fittings recently added to bring it back up to the standard it deserves.
