Now this is something a bit special.. A factory ordered 253 V8 HT Premier Wagon!

This cool old wagon has been here in NZ all of its life, still retaining its original black plates, and has just come to us from the Deep South where it has spent a considerable part of its life.

This would have been a very rare car back in the day, and must have been special order as its Australian Assembled with all of its tags to verify its original spec and is a very rare V8 Manual with power disc brakes and bucket seats.

Its quite surprising that this old Premier still exists at all to be fair, but that is clearly because it has obviously been treasured by its owners through the many decades and respected as the special car that it actually is.

The body appears remarkably clean and solid for a 56 year old Holden, and at some point in the not too distant past the straight body work has been treated to a decent cosmetic freshen up with a lovely coat of the original style but slightly enhanced Monaco Maroon metallic which is absolutely stunning in person.
The largely original interior is finished in deep buttoned black with the unique Premier scrolls in the seats and door trims and is a very cool place to sit back and enjoy the cruise in comfort.

The neat old 253 engine runs beautifully and the gear shift is nice and smooth making this old Prem an absolute pleasure to drive.

Tidy chrome and trim some of which has clearly been refurbished at some point, all add to the style of this neat old survivor, while a highly polished set of 17 inch Streeter alloys give her a bit of a modern show style appearance.

This is simply a lovely driving very easy to live with classic old Wagon that wont be out of place at the local car shows, and with this one even the family dog can come along!
Dont let the manual transmission put you off this old darling, its so easy to drive your granny could do it!
