This rare Pony is a very sought after example being a genuine Mach 1 Q-Code Cobra-Jet 351 4V car, and its equipped with a factory Hurst Shift 4 Speed manual!

Presenting today the way it is listed on its accompanying full Marti Report, this example has survived the decades to become a very rare car.
Ordered from new in Bright Red with the contrasting blackouts and front and rear spoilers , this Mustang really looks the part, and ticking the Q-Code engine option meant it also had the power to back it up.

The strong sounding engine pulls along well and is the correct 351 ci Cleveland 4V engine, running into a 4 speed Top Loader manual, and on into a nine inch 3.50 ratio rear end. The package also has the factory staggered shocks, functional Ram -Air, and power disc brakes all adding to the overall performance.

This Mach 1 is a true survivor car and as such has never been fully restored, rather it has been maintained driven and kept in good order.

Over the years this example has clearly had some cosmetic rectification work carried out, and an older repaint in the original colour, but is generally a very honest car. The body appears straight and solid, and the paintwork is shiny and presentable, giving a nice over all classic Muscle Car appeal.

This old Mach 1 has clearly been respected in the past, so hasn't been butchered or succumbed to the ravages of time like most of these cars did, and refreshingly it's still pretty much the way it was way back in 72.

The interior has had some previous cosmetic work as well and as such is in nice tidy order, while the dash layout includes a factory tacho, oil pressure, temp and amp gauges, along with a sports steering wheel.

Performance is strong from this old Mustang and the general on road feel is very user friendly, giving this example a lot of appeal.

Over all a whole lot of period 70s Muscle Car for the money, and even quite a rare car in the States now, so if history tells us anything, a reasonably unmolested Bright Red 4 speed Manual 4v Cobra-Jet should prove to be a very rewarding future investment.....
