This absolutely stunning and now very rare LX Torana Hatchback is a factory V8 4speed manual, and its still remarkably running its original matching numbers engine!

One of very few examples that has remained basically in its original factory form without being chopped up and fitted with the big bolt on flares or modified from a UC Sunbird and turned into a A9X replica, this example is a real deal genuine LX hatch, and one which has managed to remain largely unmolested which is quite remarkable for an almost 50 year old Torana

This respected local car was always pretty honest, but it has just been the subject of a comprehensive and well researched cosmetic freshen up, with a lot of correct new parts fitted and as a result is now probably the best it has presented in a very long time, the beautifully refinished deep blood Red and Black paint is really nice, as is the straight and tight bodywork, and it is further complemented by a nice new interior in the correct style herringbone trim, with a correct SS dash steering wheel and console, with new rubbers fittings and trim to finish it all off.

The nicely detailed engine bay is home to the original matching numbers 253 V8 which is lively and responsive, and with it being coupled up to the 4 speed manual makes a very nice combination, and gives this car that unmistakable Aussie Muscle Car feel and attitude when youre behind the wheel.

A Holden Historical Services Production Report ordered for the car confirms this example left the factory as a LX Torana SL Hatch ordered with the V8 Manual combination, Limited Slip Diff and that it was born on the 09/08/77 and then sold new through Noble Motors in Gosford NSW.

This Torana Hatch arrived on our shores as a private import when it was two years old, so has clearly been treated well over the decades to last in this sort of condition.
