This magnificent EL Series II XR8 has been in the same mature ownership for the last 25 years! Yes, thats almost one owner from brand new!

Known to us throughout this entire time this cherished example is as good as you would ever find, its just one of those cars it is an absolutely lovely car thats enjoyed an easy life as a treasured Sunday car with its retired ex Ford mechanic owner, who has clearly treated it very well and kept it out of the elements undercover since purchasing it as a two year old car from our local Ford Dealers Avon City Ford back in 2000.

This now very rare car is one of only 784 EL Series 2 XR8s produced in the last year of production, for what was without doubt one of the best Falcon Models ever produced in Australia, and as such this example came with the uprated 185kw engine, full Tickford ground effects body kit, and Shark Fin alloys.

Finished in the gorgeous Chilly Red this example is simply stunning, while the beautiful immaculate high grade cloth interior still presents as new, complete with is original factory security coded sound system.

Having travelled a mere 149K kms from new, and having been religiously survived by Avon City Ford for over 20 years, this XR8 drives just like it looks, perfect.

The EL series cars where absolutely bullet proof, even the almighty AU struggled to match them for rugged reliability and general build quality, and despite how good the BA XR series cars looked, they never even came close to over all quality of the EL.

Beautiful straight bodywork and almost perfect mostly original paint with no clear coat issues, perfect glass and trim, no modifications, unmarked original pearl silver finish shark fins, original books, original keys and fob, inside or out you really will struggle to fault this one.
